Privacy Policy

Jhumka Jewellery Ltd is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement and in accordance with the registration we have with the Data Commissioner's Office.

We do not pass on any information to third party suppliers. Our database of email addresses has been built from customer purchases online, via our website sign up form. We use a GDPR compliant platform called Mailchimp for our mailing list. This is used to contact you for marketing purposes, such as details of a sale, event or a new collection launch. You can unsubscribe from this list at any time via a link provided in all emails.

Website Cookies

Cookies are small files which are stored on a user's computer. We use them to identify you as you travel around our site and to provide site usage information, which will further help us improve and develop the site and services we offer. We advise you not to use cookies if your computer is shared by other people. You can accept all cookies, reject all cookies, or modify your browser to alert you of any new cookies.

We use Google Analytics to collect log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site, quiet and busy times, and locations that clients might search us within. It helps us keep an eye on how our website is doing and how much traffic we are gaining at any one time. Google has their own compliant GDPR policy.

Contact Us/ Subscribe Form

Our ‘Contact Us’ and 'Subscribe' forms are a simple way for you to send us enquiries, details of the service you require from us or to sign up to our mailing list. The information provided is used by Jhumka Jewellery Ltd to only respond to your enquiry or add you to our marketing emails if requested. We never send unsolicited emails to our clients, and will only contact you in regards to any services you request from us. Emails are only backed up onto local disk drives and are not accessible to anyone who is not a company employee. We do not share these client emails or email addresses with any external parties.

‘Right to Erasure’

Under the new GDPR, individuals can now request the ‘right to erasure’. If for any reason you’d like to have your personal data removed from our systems, it is your legal right to request this and for us to comply within 1 month. We will provide a report to show you this has been done. Please email us at info@jhumkajewellery.com.

You may request details of the personal information which we hold about you. If you would like a copy of the information held on you, please email us at info@jhumkajewellery.com.
